One Word: Party

Between 5 immediate family birthdays in the past two months and several imminent “Farewell” parties coming up (more on that in a special “Things I’m Afraid To Tell You” post Friday…), I am feeling like life is one big party! I think it’s pretty safe to say that special meals, sugary desserts, party decor and tissue-paper-stuffed gift bags are anyone’s idea of a good time. I am so excited about the unique, colorful tricks fellow bloggers and creatives are using to amp up the party standard. Whether you’re planning a cookout, ice cream social, baby shower or Halloween bash, these ideas are sure to spark your motivation – I can’t wait to try some out.

P.P.S. This certainly deserves more than a post script, but I couldn’t end this post without a simple request to take a moment today and remember the folks who sacrificed so so much this day eleven years ago. I truly will never forget…The Everygirl posted a nice, short and sweet post today in remembrance, and I’m happy to send you guys over for a little reflection time – Click here for that. Thanks guys…
